The Sunflower Jam Team are sad to announce that Alfie Boe will no longer be performing at Celebrating Jon Lord.

Alfie Boe has recently confirmed that, due to conflicting commitments, he will no longer be able to attend and perform at Celebrating Jon Lord on April 4th 2014 at The Royal Albert Hall.

Alfie was due to perform alongside Deep Purple, Bruce Duckinson, Glenn Hughes, Paul Weller, Rick Wakeman and a host of other artists to celebrate the life and work of Jon Lord, but at the last minute has regrettably had to pull out.

Alfie, who performed at last year’s Sunflower Jam 2012 to a standing ovation, tweeted his regret at not being able to attend the concert. “Sad to announce I cannot take part in this years Sunflower Jam due to work commitments in the US. I hope my fans will keep supporting. A xx”
