After much deliberation and soul-searching, we have decided to postpone this year’s SUPERJAM.
We have worked so hard to try and find a way to make it work but, due to a crazy culmination of circumstances, we just can’t make it work.
Unfortunately, Cat, our charity manage and event co-ordinator has had to leave unexpectedly for personal reasons and we don’t have enough time to get someone in and up to speed in time to manage the gig. Also, I am delighted to be welcoming two new grandchildren at the beginning of August (twins!) and my eldest daughter is also getting married. With all that going on, I just don’t feel I could do the SUPERJAM, the charity, my family or, indeed, you guys – the Jammers – justice.
However, we are looking to rebook dates in April 2016 so, the show WILL go on…just a little later than anticipated.
Despite this, we will be launching our newest charitable project – Integrated Care Packages – with the support of the wonderful organisation, Yes To Life (more on that later!) and, of course, we remain dedicated to funding the Jon Lord Fellowship. Our new project will take us back to working with children and young people which is what we have always been passionate about and we can’t wait to tell you all about.
In the meantime, please accept our sincerest apologies. We hate to disappoint but we honestly feel we can deliver a better gig in April. Thank you for your ongoing support, generosity and love.
