Alex Pickard makes top 3 percent of fundraisers.You may remember last year that Alex Pickard attempted the very daunting challenge of cycling across the country in order to raise money for The Sunflower Jam. Unfortunately, for Alex illness and injury ended up cutting his challenge short but despite this he has still been named one of the top 3 percent of fundraisers on the donation site, JustGiving.com.

Despite being unable to complete the challenge, he had already raised a whopping  £3000 in aid of The Sunflower Jam. For a small charity like us, that kind of money makes a huge difference and it’s great news that his hard work (and literally blood, sweat and tears!) has paid off!
